In this workshop, 23s experienced the concepts of uncertainty and doubt by rowing through the Bosphorus. Then, they discussed their experiences and the correspondence of the theme both in their minds and in their lives, in the sharing circle. They realized how uncertainty and doubt can be turned into an opportunity in life and how they relate to these concepts and gain new perspectives.
At the Courage & Passion workshop, the 23s set sail! They felt the passion inspired by the sea and the courage to resist the wind with teamwork. They received different basic pieces of training on sailing, such as knot tying and climbing. They experienced that courage is not fearlessness but being able to act despite our fears and how passion can feed courage by playing various games in the sharing circle.
In this workshop, the 23s tried to balance themselves on the ski boards while feeling the peace in the snow. Then, they evaluated the relationship of balance and peace together in the sharing circle. They had discussions and exercises to examine both the inner balance in their personal lives and the external balance in the outer world. They began to seek definitions of personal peace as each explored the balance in their system.
In this workshop, 23s first visited Baykar and had an interview with Selcuk Bayraktar. Then, in the sharing circle, they discussed the revolutions both in the outer world and their inner world and how evolution took place alongside revolution, accompanied by moderator mentors. As in every workshop, they reconstituted their definitions by questioning some concepts they thought they knew.
How does what we wonder relate to who we are? What are we wondering about? How can we be curious to step into a new adventure instead of getting lost and scattered? And many more questions… In this workshop, the 23s wondered the curiosity and went after it. Accompanied by the circle mentors, they did exercises that aroused the sleeping curiosities and enlightened the awake ones.
In the conscience workshop, the 23s watched a movie that made them feel the theme “conscience” and question it from different perspectives, and then evaluated the movie with Kemal Sayar. Comparing the relationship between mind and conscience, they completed some tasks in which they would question themselves about “the reason for our orientation, the human-society relationship, what makes a human a human, and how much it determines our preferences and behaviors, and finally how we can awaken it”.
